Project Description

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? 10 Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him. Matthew 7:7-12

Our heavenly Father is a Good, Good Father. The Bible is clear that He answers the fervent prayers of His people according to His will, and we know it is His will for His children and church to be vibrant. Perhaps revival in our family and our culture tarries because we give up on prayer too soon.

A small girl watched as her mother smeared cold cream on her face. She asked, “Mommy, why are you doing that?” “To make myself beautiful,” the mother replied. In a few moments, as the mother started wiping off the cream, the child asked, “Are you giving up already?”

We should never give up in prayer as we ask God to do the seemingly impossible. In fact, we should pray regularly and intensely until the answer comes. The verbs “ask, seek, and knock” are expressed in a form that denotes continuous action. Jesus is literally saying, “Ask, and keep on asking. Seek, and keep on seeking. Knock, and keep on knocking.”

Do you regularly pray regularly for your family? Do you pray with intensity for them?  For Your Church? Your Pastor? For God to powerfully manifest Himself in Corporate worship each Sunday. If your family needs to be closer to God or if you want to see God do even greater things through your church, whatever you do, do not quit praying until the answer comes. Ask, seek, and knock!

Pray Today:

  • Ask, Seek and Knock that God would powerfully move in our worship experiences today. That God’s glory would be revealed as we lift His name high in our worship. “For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” Matthew 18:20

  • We have a mission team in Mexico today starting their first full day ministering to the people there. Please pray for their safety and the salvation of those who come to the eye-glass clinics that do not know Jesus personally. “This is good and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:3-4
